This is a recording of an improvised music trio that has played together on several occasions. Here finding the group in a three-hour guerrilla session in the basement studio of Figure 8 in Brooklyn, New York on the afternoon of August 11th, 2022.

The stars aligned so to speak to make this happen. Lukas was in town from Vienna, Tony and I were free, and Shahzad graciously invited us to come do a quick session at his studio.

We were happy to have the chance to play together and the music we made has that sense of joy and fun that we were experiencing. We hope that you enjoy listening to this recording as much as we enjoyed making it.
